National Dräger, Inc. Is Incorporated as Dräger's American Subsidiary for Industrial Safety Products Located in Pittsburgh, PA.
1982
National Dräger introduces the PA-80 SCBA

National Dräger introduces the PA-80FS (Fire Service)

National Dräger obtains the Breathalyzer division from Smith & Wesson.

National Dräger obtains Ecolyzer gas detection division & the 3 Electrode Sensor Patent.
1985
Building #3 is completed National Dräger Production begins & Gedney Way is transferred from Ecolyzer in NY.
1988
Dräger Safety introduces the Model 190 and 190D Series of portable gas monitors. The Model 190D was the first gas detection instrument to datalog and calculate TWA (Time Weighted Average) based on OSHA PEL's.

Dräger introduces the first single gas instrument with Datalogging capabilities Model 190 Datalogger.

National Dräger Introduces the AirBoss - Incorporates New Materials (Carbon Fiber and Fire Retardant Material)
1995
National Dräger Introduces the PAC III with the Smart Sensor

National Dräger Introduces the AirBoss Evolution - Plug and Play Pressure Reducer - Incorporates IPass
1998
Dräger Safety Introduces the AirBoss PSS100 and AirBoss Sentinel
