With each tunnel, a situation without fire and without accident victims is always the goal. If, despite all safety precautions, a fire occurs, self-rescue has highest priority.

The Dräger seasoned concept is based on two elements:
For self-rescue, the oxygen self-rescuer is available directly at the workplace (ideally wore on the worker) as well as rescue chambers with direct or stand-alone air supplies in the near of the tunnel.
