| The EU guideline 93/76/EWG (limitation of CO2 emissions by higher efficiency in the use of energy) requires that the EU members realise programmes, which lead to a decrease in the emission of CO2 by using the energy more efficiently. Among other things it is requested to check furnaces above 15 kW in order to improve their energy consumption, i.e. increase their efficiency. |

| For non-authorised measurements the traditional chemical Indicators are used in some occasions. Quicker, more reliable and more economical is the use of electronic instruments. |

| On selection of the fuel (Oil/Gas) the oxygen value, flue gas temperature and ambient air temperature will be measured. Afterwards the instrument calculates the combustion efficiency and the CO2 content of the flue gas, based on the measured values. Besides the flue gas temperature the carbon dioxide value, as well as the combustion efficiency, are displayed. |

| Continuous displaying of CO2, combustion efficiency and flue gas temperature on oil and gas fired units in real-time. |
