| The Dräger Polytron GD30R (GDXL) is an intrinsically
safe open path gas detector used for
continuous monitoring of hydrocarbon gases
in ambient air. |
|
| The system, suitable for indoor applications,
uses microcontroller technology to convert
an infrared signal to a 4 to 20mA analogue
output from the Receiver unit. This signal is
proportional to the quantity of gas present
in the beam path. |
|
| The system comprises of a separate Transceiver
unit and reflector panel and has an operating
distance from 6 to 30 metres. The GD30R is
factory calibrated for either Methane or Propane.
An alignment module is supplied with the
device which enables one-man commissioning to be
carried out easily. |
